  • Fiber (FTTX) or Fiber-to-the-home (FTTH):

Fiber-to-the-home is the delivery of a communications signal over optical fiber to a home or business. It provides the latest digital technology and is subject to availability in your area.

  • Microwave (Wireless Internet):

Microwave Internet is an internet connection delivered over the ‘last mile’ by a high capacity microwave radio link. It is also known as radio shot, WiMAX, wifi link, wireless internet. Microwave installations are not complicated and are mostly subject to coverage compared to physical fiber installed close to your home.

The supply of telecommunications services to residential accounts (i.e., a natural person) is zero-rated supplies. This means that "home users" don't have to pay VAT.

The setup time is directly proportional to the telecommunications service the client has applied for. Fiber installations typically have a waiting period of 6-8 weeks, while Microwave installations will be finalized within a week (five business days). All of this is subject to a Line of Sight (LoS) propagation survey done by the Loc8 installations and activations team.

  • Fair Usage Policy (FUP):

Implemented by Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to prevent a small number of customers from using an excessive amount of network bandwidth, impairing the experience of a large majority. Once a customer reaches a certain data transfer limit, speed is reduced as stated in the package.

  • Uncapped Services:

Uncapped internet plans provide an unlimited amount of data every month for a single monthly fee.
